Many students lack basic civic and legal knowledge , leaving them unprepared for real-world situations involving school discipline, privacy, and interactions with authority.
Research shows that youth civic education is often inconsistent and doesn’t always translate into stronger understanding. The result is a gap where students rely on misinformation instead of accurate knowledge — exactly when accurate knowledge matters most.

Real World Rights translates legal language into something students can usually use. We’re working toward nonprofit status so we can expand resources, run workshops, and reach the students who need this most.
